We will be building gingerbread houses on Wednesday, December 17th, from 1:00 - 2:00. If anyone would like to join us to help out, extra hands are always appreciated. We will decorate our houses on Thursday, December 18th and they will be sent home Thursday after school.
Each child will need to bring in an 8½ by 11” (approximately) piece of cardboard covered in tinfoil to build their house on. The rest of the supplies will be supplied by Miss. Holgerson. Please send the wrapped cardboard on or before Wednesday, December 17th with their name clearly marked on the bottom. Thanks for your help in making this a successful building project. In class we have been looking at different versions of the story The Gingerbread Man. We read "The Stinky Cheese Man" as well as the "Gingerbread Baby" and then we completed a Venn diagram looking at the similarities and differences of the two books.
