We had an awesome Halloween in 1H! We got LOTS of yummy treats (thank you parents!), we had a Halloween parade, did some candy corn math, did a Boo Bump math game, wrote about how to carve a pumpkin and so much more!

Today we read the story Monster knows patterns and discovered all sorts of different kinds of patterns, like shape, color and actions patterns! Then we made our own monster pattern! Check it out!
Today we had our annual Fall Frenzy, where we went outside and got ACTIVE!!!! Students traveled around to different stations collecting stickers! When it was over, we had an awesome apple snack! Fall is here and so is our science unit on seasons! Our classroom has transformed into a fall scene! In this unit we will be learning about what people and animals do in the fall and the changes in plants, trees and weather!
Today we read the Berenstain Bears and the Prize Pumpkin and we learned that we have SO much to be thankful for! SO then we made these adorable little thankful turkeys so that we could write down some of the things we are thankful for!
Today a Magician came to our school to teach us about how to be a good friend as well as showing us some AMAZING magic tricks!!! We absolutely LOVED it! Our favorite part was when he turned a toy bunny into a real bunny!
